A Little Change Is In Order.....

After NYCC 2013, I decided to have a little change to happen to my site. After the support of the con-goers (and Greg and Brian giving me a long talk for years lol), I decided to start adding my illustrations to my portfolio online. For years I drew multiple illustrations and done some digital paintings in Photoshop, but never posted them. So in the coming weeks I am doing some remodeling to the site to include my top illustrations.

Also I am accepting commissions from anyone who wants it. Just email me at caleb@heroofelements.com and we'll discuss prices. Depending on the amount of work, prices will vary.

The journey to becoming an outstanding artist continues....

New York Comic Con 2013 Weekend

Hey everyone,

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to join three amazing artists at the New York Comic Con 2013, Brian Cannady (bcannady.daportfolio.com), Gregory Garay (weflyhi.com), and Andrew Umana (ninjadeoro.deviantart.com). The experience was amazing and the amount of support we received was phenomenal.

Also I like to thank our friends, family, and visitors that visited our booth (Booth #1062 - Virtual Verbosity) and purchased our commissions!

I would also like to give a special thanks to Rare Earth Comics (rareearthcomics.com) for supporting us and giving us advice throughout the con. Also special thanks to Vanquish Interactive (vanquish-interactive.com), DestinyBlue (destinyblue.deviantart.com), Vampire Cowboys (vampirecowboys.com), Jerry "The King" Lawler (yes he did stop by and say we had awesome work lol), and Alex Teplish (inthebeginningthebook.com) for also supporting our table.

Definitely this was an exciting experience and looking forward to our next con.

Here are some of my commisions I was able to draw out at the table....

Back From Hiatus with New Work to Show!

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since my last post, but for good reason. I was prepping works for another art show at the New York Institute of Technology while also help setting up and organizing for the show. The event was called "Characters Among Us: A NYIT Fine Arts Alumni Exhibit" and my work was featured alongside some amazing artists. The theme was character design and expressing the character(s) in a very unique way.

It was a very busy and grueling weeks to get the pieces ready, but I finished two works, (One digital painting concept and a 3D Model) and was able to add my own work to the gallery. I felt it was a great turnout of guests and hope to do it again soon.

I also like to thank Brian Cannady II, who curated the pieces, organized the event, and allowed me to not only contribute my own pieces but also help with the show's creation. You can find some of his work here at his website: ( bcannady.daportfolio.com/ )

Here are the two new pieces I did for the show and will be adding to my website shortly:

(P.S. - these pieces are concepts for a future project coming soon. More details coming very soon....)
